About Stephanie McClintock

Stephanie McClintock’s dedication and love for her community has inspired her to run for State Representative of the 18th Legislative District. Making Washington a better place to live and raise a family is high on her priority list. In addition, reestablishing effective policing standards will also be addressed when elected. Stephanie grew up as the daughter of a 31-year police detective and understands the importance of public safety, especially in the face of rising crime. She is committed to supporting our first responders who selflessly risk their lives to keep us safe. “The high crime rates we have today are a result of little to no consequences to those that break the law, we must fully fund law enforcement and enforce our laws.”

While serving on the Battle Ground School Board from 2013 until 2017, Stephanie learned the complexities involved with all school districts and was a champion for increasing parental involvement within those complex decisions. “Public education is funded by property owners and we need to see results of those dollars in our students’ knowledge of core subjects and offer robust career and technical education classes.” Stephanie also served as the Clark County Republican Party Chair in 2012 where she successfully coordinated campaigns and worked to promote a strategically conservative agenda.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys giving back to her community. She has spent time volunteering with Prairie High School Boosters and Battle Ground Education Foundation.

Stephanie received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Concordia University and is currently working in public relations for United Grain Corporation.

Stephanie and her husband Darrin, along with their two sons, Ethan and Ryan, proudly call Vancouver, Washington their home.

Early endorsements for Stephanie include the 18th Legislative District State Senator Ann Rivers, 17th Legislative District Senator Lynda Wilson and 18th Legislative District State Representatives Brandon Vick and Larry Hoff, 17th Legislative District State Representative Paul Harris and Battle Ground City Council Members Shane Bowman and Troy McCoy.
