Ed Orcutt has been serving SW Washington in the House of Representatives since 2002. Due to redistricting, he has been serving the citizens of the 20th district since 2013. Ed is the Ranking Minority Member of the Transportation Committee, and has served as the Assistant Ranking/Ranking Minority Member of the Finance Committee and serves on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.
An active volunteer even before he was elected to serve in the House of Representatives, Ed is a past president of the Lions Club and currently a member of the Kalama Lions. He has served as past chairman of the Highlander Festival, a board member of Columbia Theatre Board, and as a youth bowling coach.
After earning his B.S. in Forest Management from the University of Idaho, Ed has made his living as a forestry consultant since 1990 and owner of his own consulting company since 2009. He is a leader in protecting our natural resource industries and quality of life.
Ed and his wife, Marcie, have been married since 1996 and make their home in Kalama, Washington.
