About Stephanie Barnard

Born and raised in Washington, Stephanie Barnard has called the Tri-Cities home for 30 years. Stephanie is a small business advocate committed to lowering taxes, strengthening public safety measures, growing a prepared workforce, protecting our agricultural community and dams on the Snake River.

Stephanie was head of government affairs for the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce for 4 years. She led advocacy efforts through the Local Government Affairs Committee and the Tri-Cities Legislative Council, to advance policies, develop solutions, and support positions that strengthen business and optimize the region’s economy and quality of life. She is well-known for building coalitions around key issues, developing public/private relationships and comprehensive community outreach efforts. 

She also founded and directed a nonprofit organization (ANGELS Network) that provided car seats and training to low income/high risk parents of newborn babies and is the past member of the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America.

As a Republican leader in the region, she began serving in the Franklin County Republican Party (FCRCC) as a PCO, treasurer, and vice-chair. In 2012, she was elected and served as a national delegate at the Republican National Convention.

A mother of 6 with 20 marathons under her belt, she currently lives in Pasco with her two teenage children.
