Born in Boise, Jesse moved with his brother and mother to the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma when he was three years old.
At times homeless, Jesse’s mom worked hard to keep the family going. Jesse also worked hard, becoming valedictorian of his class when he graduated from Tacoma’s Wilson High School in 1995 while participating in multiple varsity sports and working part time. He was named a Washington State Scholar by the State Legislature. Always positive, Jesse recounts, “I learned a lot of lessons growing up, especially how hard work and determination can overcome obstacles.”
Jesse went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Notre Dame. He now works as a technology consultant. He has experience in the aerospace, health care, energy, insurance and real estate industries.
Jesse and his wife, Jennie, have five beautiful children and live in Gig Harbor.
